Hubby works till 9 pm today so it will be another late dinner.
I am making sauteed mushrooms with mayo and Italian cheese blend and fried chicken tenders that have been basted with mayo and dried marjoram. Too much mayo I guess but I don't mind it. I love mayo!
I remember back in high school we had a guy who told us he ate mayo by the spoonful. Now that is just crazy not to mention unhealthy. I don't do such a thing but when I cook with mayo I am generous with it, though I stop myself when I feel it is too much of it.

I am counting my calories, I want to lose a few pounds to wear my summer dresses. I made a salad with crab, avocado, hearths of palm and home made vinaigrette (a bit of oil, mustard and vinegar). No mayo for several days, too many calories.

@lovebuglena A table spoon of mayo it's more calories than most people think, to be precise 1 tablespoon is equal to 94 calories. I have always been pretty maniac about my weight.

A little mayo does no harm. Sounds like you had a delicious salad.

Today was a diet day so I had protein bars and yogurt.

@lovebuglena Yep. I have 3 meals; but I only eat those 2 things. Protein bars are 200 calories each; and yogurt is 110 calories each. I keep the total calories around 1,000.

I love mayo. I use it on my hotdog buns, hamburger buns, sandwiches. I don't think you can have too much mayo. My husband doesn't like it, thought, but I do, sometimes, use it in cooking and he doesn't know it and usually likes what I make. He's driving Uber tonight, though, so I just had lunch leftovers.

I bet it has a lot of cholesterol. But I don't care. Not like I eat it by the spoonful. There actually is such a thing as too much mayo. Hubby's mom makes a Russian salad that requires mayo and she puts way too much of it. I am not a fan.

I love salads! No walnuts for me though. Walnuts and pecans are nuts I don't like. They are bitter.

That sounds really delicious. I'm not a huge fan of mayo, but I do use it when I make chicken or tuna salad. I don't use mayo when I make sandwiches but if they're sandwiches from the deli, I request mayo, strange aren't I?

Yum! Would have to be turkey bacon for me as I don't eat pork. Or maybe beef or duck bacon if I could get my hands on some. Most places don't sell those for some reason.
