A Treat for Myself

Splurged today at, of all places, McDonald's. Was out running errands and stopped by for a quick lunch.
They are having an international special going on now on the menu. I ordered the Canada’s Tomato Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich. It’s a savory medley of flavor with creamy mozzarella cheese, sliced roma tomatoes, fresh lettuce, and tomato and herb sauce all with a crispy chicken breast made with all white meat. Served on an artisan roll.

Can you say yummy? It was delicious. I could only eat half. Maybe the other half will be dinner. I cannot remember the last time I had McDonald's.

sure sounds good! 'tis sort'a funny what they serve'n other countries versus the mostly garbage they've been sellin' 's americans, eh? lol
tryin' to get my gut settled (possible crohn's flare). if'n not, i'll not be able to go'n spend time with the youngest son'n family 'morrow. 'd ne'er survive the trip there :(

@CarolDM oh, no worries, hon. 's they say, this too shall pass. tryin' to figure what i've done diff'rent to cause such disruption? 've not 'd any troubles fer 'bout 3 yrs now. i can't take any meds fer 't (weird allergies), so took the nutritional route 'n 've done quite well 'til this morn. gotta get't 'nder control so's not to miss tomorrow. 'tis a 4th birthday celebration fer the lil fella 'n such's truly a miracle. the wee'un (jest born this past january) 'tis 'lready sittin' by 'imself 'n tryin' to crawl. i've missed so much 'f 'em growin'!

@CarolDM I just discovered that I could buy frozen White Castle burgers and they come out as I remember them when I fix them in my steamer.

@loriamoore Tea In theEdwardian tea rooms in Buxton for us. Every bit as unhealthy as McDonalds.

@CarolDM Nice treat. My fiancé and I treated ourselves to finest gourmet burgers at Red Robins a couple days ago! It was yummy.

Not especially...just got to go to CVS for a sale item and wanted to go to Jamba Juice, but it's too expensive so I'll just go home and get dinner going. I just got some fresh green onions so it's a toss up between an omelet with green onions or saimin with green onions for dinner. Your chicken sandwich looks delicious and been seeing the commercial too. Glad you enjoyed your treat.

A couple of times a month I take my daughter to McDonalds because they have a playplace, I treat myself to one small mocha
