Many of you know our younger son is in the process of divorcing his wife. Many of you know that we are blessed with another son who is the father of our two precious grandchildren. Right now, he and his wife are visiting the kids. It’s Parents Visiting Weekend. They drove to Maine first to visit our granddaughter. The photo is one taken at 4th of July. She is the one in the middle, between some of her very bestest of friends, including Lionel Richie’s granddaughter, Nicole Richie’s daughter (on the left). Our son texted me that she LOVES camp. Yesterday was spent in New Hampshire at our precious grandson’s camp. He LOVES camp, too! Our son and daughter-in-law will spend several days in New England before driving back to New York City. I’m sure they will eat lobster for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We do have plenty of joys in life to see us through the next few months. We are blessed with two sons and two grandkids whom we love to the moon and back, a loving family, and so many wonderful friends right here on myLot and in real life.

I would love lobsters for the three meals too, not for many days, but for a few days I would. They are a wonderful happy family.

TWINS I could do two solid days of lobster eating, but then the enjoyment would wear off.You know what they say about too much of a good thing. Thanks. At least one side of the family is happy right now.

@DianneN Youo get tired even of the most delicious thing after a few days. I am sure that your older son will be of a great help to your younger now.

@LadyDuck You are right except for martinis. Yes, our older son has been very helpful to our younger son and such a great brother. He isn't a divorce lawyer, but knew where to send him in Connecticut.

Eating lobster 3 meals a day doesn't sound like a bad thing to me! Love it. But, I would settle for once a day. There is always joy to be found, we just need to look for it. Even on the darkest day, there is a glimmer of sun.

They can do it and so could I. Lobster omelette for breakfast, lobster roll for lunch, and lobster for dinner! Thank you. You know what you are talking about and so do I.

Now you have me thinking of lobster. I guess I'll have to settle for a veggie omelet. I'm glad the grandkids are enjoying summer camp.

Are you a vegetarian? Thank you. The kids love it there. It's so good for them to be out of the city in the summer.

@wolfgirl569 They love not driving all over the place for hockey and ice skating. Absence makes the heart grow fonder. Yes, the parents miss them, and were looking forward to seeing them.

That's wonderful they LOVE camp and are having a great time. It's great they could visit the kids during parent's weekend. Lobster three times a day sounds like a good deal to me. I love lobster. It's been a long time since I have it. The price here is outrageous.

Thanks, but you knew from previous years how much they love camp. lol Lobster must be even more outrageous where you live than where we are. It's like ordering Dover sole here.

@just4him Thanks. Dover sole is white. It's also very delicious, but expensive since it's flown in fresh daily from Dover, England. Low cal, too. lol

Diane, I am shocked! I am in the minority here ,, I didn't know your younger son and his wife are divorcing! Didn't they marry not too long ago? From all you have mentioned here, they seemed very happy.

@DianneN So Nicole's daughter is back at camp with her again. I am glad you have good news to share. I am glad she loves camp. I did not like it. Who is the other girl on the other side of her? I am so glad you have a lot of good things in your life. I wanted to ask if Doodles understands what is going on? I am glad both grandchildren love their camps and your son and daughter-in-law are happy too.

@DianneN I know when I got my divorce and was free of him my dog and cat were so happy that we were rid of him. That is so nice that they kept their friendship up. I know your son is happy about being rid of her but I know he is sad. I felt very free when I was divorced because that was a horrible marriage all the way around.

@DianneN Lately our three grandchildren joined their youth conference camp for three days within the city capital. It's attended by the youth members of the Church coming from different units and branches in.our district. According them, they enjoyed the camp. They found new friends and learned to develop their self-confidence and self-esteem.

I haven't been very active here. I meant to look you up on here about a week ago and catch up on your posts. I didn't know your younger son who was more recently married then your other son is divorcing his wife. I am so sad to hear this news. I can't imagine what happened. Last I knew they had moved into their own home. I am very glad your grandkids are doing well and enjoying their summer.

I haven't been around here much since returning from Florida. Not to worry. All this about the divorce is recent. It is very sad, but he doesn't want her back. He's feeling much better now after being in despair. I needed to think of the good things in my life to help rid my mind of the horrible shock of the divorce. Thank you! Missed you.
