'Are YOU COMFORTABLE Working with PEOPLE of Different Ages?'

When I was still working with my previous companies, I don’t mind working with colleagues of different ages. It is a way of learning things that we don’t know. In fact, they do have different personas. I don’t mind about this matter. As long as, they are doing their responsibilities in the workplace. ‘Do you feel comfortable working with people of different ages?’ 'Can you work with a boss younger than you?' Yes, I have worked with all types of ages, ethics and it was all fine. My boss was older than me though.

@Shavkat It is good to get along with everyone. The company I worked previously worked with others around the world too, so we were communicating with people all over.

@infatuatedbby I had also experienced working with foreign people. It really needs to open and diverse on working with them.

I think it is, my friend. I assumed that you are still a student, right? It can be relatable when working with other students to accomplish certain projects at school.

When I was working at the office before, I can see all types of ages and for me it's better to work with older people than younger once

Honestly, I am more comfortable working at my own pace. If it needs to have this so-called 'teamwork.' That's the only time that I am working with colleagues of all ages.

I'm quite sure I worked for a boss younger than me, especially as I neared retirement age. I don't mind working with people of different ages.

I also experienced working with bosses younger than me before. I don't think it is a hindrance to work effectively with them.

I am into your opinion about this matter. It is not a good way to compare oneself to other colleagues, too. It is not a healthy thing to do.

You are right on this. We just need to have open-communication and be open to new ideas from these people, either young or old ones at work.

Working with the Corporate world you will have to deal with many people and deal with their differences. I am able to adjust as needed or when needed.

I can do the same thing. In my previous jobs, I used to work without my colleagues' presence. If I am needed to join in working with the team, that's the only time it is needed to be with them.

I think all my bosses are practically younger than me. Sometimes I learn from them and sometimes I have to teach them, it goes both ways, so long as I am happy with what I am doing.

I think there is nothing to collaborate with ideas when working with co-workers of all ages. I am not fond of it though. It is better to work in my own ways. If things needed as a team, then I am forced to do it.

I've worked with a younger boss or an older colleague from the past. But I think I like working on my own that's why I chose to be a freelancer instead.

In the faculty office, my co teachers are of different ages, I feel so comfortable with them young and old. However, you can sense the difference for if you are younger than them, they keep on relying on me works done through a computer. Like in the faculty, many oldies seek help from me like posting of grades in the system that requires many manipulations, even the Daily Time Record, my goodness they do not know how to print and many more that makes me feel bad sometimes. I very like to those at my age for we have the same words and jokes and hands on a computer.

I can relate to that, my friend. Sometimes older colleagues tend to be stagnant with their capabilities. For me, they need to step up and go with the flow of changes here on Earth. But then, they just simply don't want changes in their lives.

@cacay1 I do agree with you. I had encountered some of them in my previous jobs. I must say that we need to be patient in teaching them.Regardless, I bow my head to those oldies who wished to learn the usage of computers.

@Shavkat that seems hard for them because they are retired teachers and resurrected into teaching with limited knowledge of computer manipulations. They are in their late 60's and 70's.Though they can push themselves to learn, but they seem lazy at their age now.
