Lately I am being scrutinized from people saying since I have all these Health problems, I should only focus on getting better, and not do anything, and even quit worrying about Finances etc as if you're disabled why can't Welfare, or churches help you instead?
Do they not realize I am Married number #1 and second I come from a generation where I was taught how to earn extra $$ anyway you can and things would be OK. Back then we never knew how expensive it would be almost 40 yrs later.
But when it comes to ways to earn extra $$, there is not much I have tried over the yrs. I have wrote for sites that used to pay some extra $$, and even submitted reviews, etc. I have been selling at Yard Sales, and Flea Markets etc on and off since the 80s. Sold on eBay on and off almost since the start and have had my own business with a WA state business license since 10/10.
Am I rich? Not!! But what I have learned is if you put your mind too it, if there is really something you want, there are ways to get it. Some might just take longer than others to get it.
What do you do to Earn Extra $$?

Mylot is the only place where I am working for past 2 years and earned around $10 so far. I am still looking for new ways to make money.

I sell on ebay. I sell at flea markets and have garage sales. I list things for a pawn shop and get 10% of the sales. I help when they call me at the animal shelter.
I used to work 45 hours a week. 7 days on and 7 days off. On my day off I did mystery shops and watched kids.

I do a little bit of content writing. Honestly, I feel guilty for earning that bit extra. You see the money across the world is limited. God has given me enough for my food clothing shelter and medicines. I agree there is not enough to splurge. And I do have some debts too to clear. But all manageable in due course of time. I now want to step aside and let others earn because they have more life ahead of them...40 years as you said.

I worked really hard andria. Twenty hours a day for almost 8-10 years of my life. Practically had no private life back then. Saved and saved and saved. Even after that, I worked for 10 plus hours overall 23 years of regular employment. It has given me decent retirement sorta. I too was not born with silver spoon in my mouth, but feel good that god has decided not to let me be hungry ever. The scene I remember from Gone With the Wind.. Scarlett O'Hara - bending down to eat a dried up carrot/radish..saying I will never be hungry again. I am by no means rich. Just have enough for food clothing shelter medicines .. may be clearing my debts and very little to splurge. Yet, I am content because I started at a very dismal spot when I had to skip meals for three days per week.

I was raised the same way. You can find a way to work and/or make money if you look. I discovered writing this way. I always enjoyed writing and when I was bored years later started writing product reviews on a prominent website that paid well. My work was noticed by several people. I was contacted by Editor at Chicken Soup for the Soul and invited/asked to submit stories to them. I did. And I was published in several of their books. I was asked to write for a couple of magazines and had a monthly feature in one. I was noticed by other websites and asked to write for them. This led to writing for Yahoo.com and other websites for sports articles. I was also asked to take on a travel blog for Louisiana, my home state. My love for writing grew and it all started by just wanting to make a few extra bucks by writing reviews. When you put forth the effort, your hard work pays off.

I work on surveys from different sites, test products from some surveys I do , this morning , I woke up to a $30 visa card from testing something. Work on swag bucks, will save up to 2500 points to get 25 Dollars. I join communities, , that will give incentives. So I do things like this and that to make extra. Some money is better than no money.

1) Try signing up for online Market Research studies. You won't get accepted to all of them, as they look for people with very specific qualities-medical conditions, pet owners, work experience...-but if you do get accepted, the pay is anywhere from $75 to $300 and up. Try Focuspoint.com, findfocusgroups.com and paidfocusgroups.com.
2) If you have any knowledge or skills to share, try creating an opnline course on a site like teachable.com
Become an online tutor for sites like cheggtutors.com or skooli.com

I get a pocket money every month. I am a homemaker. So this is the only site of my extra earning.

Similar to other MyLotters, I am signed up with a few survey sites. Some are more advantageous than others and offer higher rewards. A few months ago I was involved with a diary survey which paid £75 on completion. Always find myself coming back to MyLot though just for the social side

I do a lot and even have my online shop to make ends to meet. It's not about being rich anymore. I guess it's just a nice feeling that I am able to earn extra whenever I can.
