“What WORDS would you DESCRIBE your PERSONALITY?”

It has been a long time that I haven’t had a job interview. I have these magic words that are so effective in catching the attention of an interviewer. The common question is being asked by them and that is “Can you describe yourself?” I always answered back with these three words: persistent, persuasive, and patient (3 Ps). It never fails me to nail my job interview.
“How about you, guys?”
“Did you still feel nervous if having a job interview?”

@wolfgirl569 I personally think that these words are striking. After they hired me, they will find out that I have this crazy side, too.

I have had a couple of job interviews over the past 22 years of this illness. Unfortunately I am hopelessly honest and reveal my illness to any potential employer. It is hard for me to describe myself for a job interview because I am not the same person I was when I last worked. I don't have the brain I had back then. I'd like to think I am still organized, able to work independently, and able to work with others. I'm not sure I can handle stress anymore with my illness. Unfortunately, there is no job out there that is flexible to my illness.
Personally, I am funny, empathetic, and friendly.

When I was still practicing my profession as a Physiotherapist, I need to be an emphatic person. I am not sure what illness you have, my friend. I think we need to slow down in certain things. But I think you can still do certain jobs at your own pace, right?

@Shavkat I have fibromyalgia which consists of chronic pain, chronic fatigue, brain fog, depression & anxiety, IBS and a whole lot of other things. I used to be a secretary but I can't even type like I used to. Sometimes I can't even read properly. And I sure as heck can't stand on my feet all day or get up early. It's frustrating.

@Nakitakona I am not questioning what you do as a principal. It is a noble thing to transfer your skills and principles in life to students, teachers or other people in your community.

@Shavkat But as a school principal, those things work great for me for the success of my school and teachers under me.
My time is dedicated for my position to make the best things out from my school in terms of quality education.
To fulfill the vision and mission of education in which I have committed myself and determined to do it in the best way I could though I know I am not perfect.
And diligence is the keyword to pursue our school plans in following them up to the responsive and supportive stakeholders.
The panel of interviewer concluded the interview for as a school.principal applicant. Did I miss something? Are those actuations or principles not applicable to school.principalship or school administration?
Well, friend, we have different point of view.

I was not nervous when interviewed by the college president, dean and VPAA. I was just asked why I was there in front of them. My answer was, today is my schedule to be interviewed by you all hehehehe. I was hired right away. If describe myself, I am hardworking, considerate, compassionate ,stupid, the word stupid best describes me in terms of love to a guy not to my work. I felt stupid believing and hoping to nothing in return but tears and aches.

@andriaperry I am aware that you have your own business. You are the boss out there. Luckily, I don't need to deal with bosses and colleagues. At present, I am the boss of my time working online as a freelancer.

Really when I have to talk, expose, debate or interview I feel like a fish in the water, is that I am a lawyer hehehe, but nevertheless before being it, I felt that it was my vocation because I am very fluent to communicate and express my ideas, not I feel some fear could talk to anyone, just feel comfortable with your ideas, the day you have to express ideas or thoughts that do not belong to you in essence, then it is not your place, nor your work, nor your life. Good luck with your interview and just be yourself.

very good, it is very difficult to self-describe, at least for me it is, I think I will have to think about it and keep my descriptive words somewhere for when they ask me, be prepared

@Bullshark Some people claimed that you can know a person's persona by reading their writings. I am trying to have this skill.
