That's good I also avoid the crime news or some unnecessary details but I like the administration of my state, Indian politics, environment related news.

I read newspaper to improve my thinking capabilities, i just read ans visualize what is written it helps me to do a better immagination

@Starkinds but i found a difference, reading news from mobile and newspaper has a huge difference, reading newspaper gives a healthy immagination while using mobile phone i feel like it doesnt produce some chemicals from brain that gives a healthy feeling

i did not read the newspaper daily but only sometimes because they mostly show false thing and all newspaper show different thing and spread negativity. i read only sports page lol haha.

@Starkinds I will sometimes flip through a newspaper if there is one around but I don't really pay attention much to it as a lot of news is exaggerated or fake. Not all but a lot is.

Here in my country it is an obligation, unless in my student age, that students read the newspaper even in class, although now there was a digital technology displacing paper newspapers by digital newspapers, it was essential to know spelling rules, writing and reading, that way you learn more to perfect grammar, I consider this practice important.

It's ok it's personal choice there are so many resources around here to be updated but I like the old version one of that is newspaper

I no longer read newspapers regularly since the advent of the internet, besides all the daily and big news are broadcast on TV and radio so I just watch and listen.
