my daughter is getting married the end of the month / myLot

(well technically the beginning of next month). I have been going through old stories of her (I am giving the father speech and acting as the MC for the event). I have so many stories of the wonderful person my daughter is. So, world, should i go funny, sad sad sad or funny funny in terms of the types of storeis, I sahre?

The important thing on such an occasion is to come up with something that is really embarrassing - probably from when she was about three or four. That should get plenty of laughs, which is the whole point of the father's speech!

I love the suggestion of @indexer and I am very glad that when I got married in Italy the father did not had to speak in public. I would have killed my Dad for something like that.

@DocAndersen There was not the habit in my country to give a speech at the wedding, all the guests would have found this "weird".

My dad loved to speak in public - he gave a speech at our wedding and it felt like it lasted two weeks!

Finally! I know who is getting married. I would do a mix of stories but none about any ex boyfriends. Funny is usually best.
