I might have osteoporosis, even if I am 28 years old. Maybe I am old. My dentist and doctors believe that I have a severe illness that causes me to lose all my teeth.
I can't believe that I lost my teeth. My parents still have their own teeth, my brother has his teeth. It's not genetic. The cause is severe illness or medicine for depression.
Can young people have osteoporosis? Do you know young people who have it? And if you do what are their symptoms? I will make a test, but until then I want to know if it's possible.

Yes, young people can get osteoporosis. It is called juvenile osteoporosis, and it is a rare disease. I have never met anyone who had it. Sometimes juvenile osteoporosis is caused by another illness and sometimes it is not possible to find out what causes it, but it is something you should discuss with your doctor.

@dya80dya Yes, children can get it, but I am not sure how old they are when it starts.

Hi. Osteoporosis is a bone disease usually found in older people. For a much younger person, it is rickets. 28 seems quite young for osteoporosis but nothing is impossible. I'm sorry to hear you lost your teeth though, but all isn't lost.

@dya80dya Osteoporosis can also be caused by a lack of calcium and vitamin D. So dairy products should be included in your diet, also green leafy vegetables and exercise.

How many teeth do you have left? Also, can you replace the lost teeth with implants?
