Do You Earn or Monetize Your Blogspot Blog?

I do have lots of old blogs with good title and it was just left unupdated. They said strike while the iron is hot and I did this before however, I was not an adsense publisher but a nuffnang. I left their ads on my blog pages for a very long time but I just found out the sad news that happened last year. Nuffnang Philippines is no longer operating and I never even got to cashout my little earnings there. I was banned by adsense before but it was not because of blogging it was another third party site, more like a social network. I think it's about 10 years since that happened. For some reason I wanted to revive my writing hobbies and planning to enroll my blog to adsense for monetization too. I would like to ask you guys if you are an active blogger for just some inspiration, tips, and I wish you could share a bit of your experience about it.
