Time to Walk and Work on My Book

I didn't get up late, but I was late getting my first post on here. I did a lot of research for the Bible Study post this morning. So, it took more time than it usually does.
I don't think I'm going to post the health reports anymore. Why? I've got a good handle on what I'm eating and how much I need to eat to keep it on track. I did good yesterday.
I will be weighing myself in a couple of weeks though, just to make certain I'm losing like I need to, that alone should keep me on track, knowing I'm weighing myself at intervals.
Tomorrow I'm back in the pool. My rib is much better. I've reached the halfway point in the healing process and doesn't hurt anymore.
Okay, time to walk the complex and get to work. I hope everyone in the US and wherever you celebrate Labor Day is having a good holiday. The weather is nice here, though we're expecting storms to come in overnight and all day tomorrow. Looks like the clouds are gathering, so I better get that walk taken care of now before I can't.
You all have a good day and I'll see you all tomorrow. Be blessed. The picture is another from the Botanical Gardens. Thanks for reading.

@JohnRoberts Yes, it was. I got my walk taken care of, I'm not sure of the time involved but I think I did a minimum of 45 minutes through the complex. It could have been an hour. I did the route twice. Then I got a lot of work done on the book and had time to watch TV. It was a great day.

I've enjoyed hearing about your daily progress, but you will still be letting us know. I'm happy that you've got a handle on your weight-loss goals, it's all uphill from today foreward

@just4him I think of the obesity label as something so mean. That's like drawing attention to someone's blindness, 'he's blind!' I'm sure that person already realizes it:(

@kobesbuddy Yes, but right now I have the morbid obesity label on my charts. In 12 pounds that will be gone. I have to get all the way down to 118 before I lose the obesity label.

I am working on a book as well. At least, it may be turning into a book. It started as a short story

That's great! Are you connected to a support writer's group?

@riverbetty108 I recommend you get hooked up with one. Start with your library. I'm sure they can direct you to a local writer's group.
I'm with one that meets on the first Tuesday, today, of the month at our main library here. It's always great to get good feedback on what you're working on.

You should write about the things you want to share. We will be happy to read whatever you want to share.

I missed a bunch of posts, are you okay? I hope your rib is completely healed soon!
I wasn't going to take off my work today, but I wasn't feeling 100%, so I used Labor Day as an excuse to do so. I did get things set up for the rest of the week though.

I like hearing what people ate, the calorie intake I like seeing the progress, and hearing about it.
Those look like some giant lego's , I would never have guessed from Botanical Gardens.

@crazyhorseladycx I was surprised there wasn't any knee pain after I got off the bike as bending it like I do pedaling can be challenging for my right knee. It's doing great. Even the rib is doing well. It won't be long now before it's completely healed.

Thank you. I'm doing good with it. Knowing the calories and how much I'm eating really helps in keeping a handle on my weight. It's not just eating healthy that matters, eating how much also matters.
I'm glad you had a good Labor Day.

I actually forgot to write about my meals. It keeps me going so I try to write about calories, keeps me accountable.

Yes, it does. I'm seeing it's about the same every day, so if I eat the same, I'm doing okay. I'm still keeping track of it, at least I have it written down so I can see it. I just didn't post it.
