Instant dessert

Simple but it got the job done: I split long graham crackers in half then smeared almond butter on one half. Next I cracked open a can of cranberry sauce, spooned a good chunk on top of that almond butter and gingerly closed the sandwich. It tasted pretty good! I admit to wishing I had some chocolate sauce to pour over but for a quick cupboard end of supper, it wasn't too awful.

That actually sounds pretty good. You have a nice knack for coming up with a great and easy dessert or snack that isn't totally bad either healthwise.

@kareng Thanks. Cranberry sauce is mostly sugar. A discount store had cans of it at a quarter a can. How to resist??

@kareng Very true. That crazy store has had candy canes for eons now, 25 cents a box. I bet they raise the price in November.
