I was thinking one more comment and I am off mylot, I have to work outside the grass is awful.
The phone rings and its the lady I hired to clean, I figured she was finished and was reporting in but No.....
The neighbor calls the police and told them someone was in the house, door open and inside talking.
The police came, ran in the front door, asked why she is there and her for ID which she did not have because she lives 3 houses up the hill, she walked down there. She told them she was working for me cleaning the house.
She said "OMG! she, the neighbor, has went police calling crazy!"
I am glad she is watching about the house, but she should slow that down, the police will disregard her calls sooner than later.
Have you ever?

Calling the police should be a necessary thing not an entertainment thing.

So you proved that I am right. I'm not paranoid. I have this weird habit of taking my ID with me no matter where I go. For example, if I'm going to move my car from one space to another parking space (we live in apartments and parking is always a battle), I take my drivers license. I figure I never know when I may have to identify myself to an authority. Also, I figure I never know when I might be passed out and somebody needs to check through my purse to identify me. I try to have my identification whenever I walk out of my door. I think the one exception is when I go to take out the trash.

i reckon with all the fiascoes goin' there, the neighbor figured better safe'n sorry. perhaps ya should'a let the neighbor know this lady 'twas comin' to clean? could'a 'voided lots 'f confusion, terror 'n the policeman's time.

@crazyhorseladycx Yes, but you have to understand, ALL of that happened in one week. When the female tenant moved out first.

Not for day time repairs and cleaning, she should stop and think.

My head spun on that, funny how you talk pretty similar to me without knowing. I think I got the jest of it. Someone over reacted.

It could be she didn't like whoever was living there and wants to make sure that doesn't happen again @andriaperry It's not easy living next door to a rental.

I had an elderly lady, who watched our home like a hawk. One day, she called the police because we were laughing in the kitchen! She thought my ex was up to no good and hurting me!

@andriaperry Rose Mary almost cried, she was so embarrassed! The officer and I praised her up, for being such a caring neighbor. She mothered, as if I was her own daughter

Well, I guess you have a vigilante in the area! At least she called the police, and didn't hoof it over there with a piece or something.

Why did the neighbor call the police instead of approaching you first?
