I will be making mushroom soup for myself tonight. Well, Campbell's and I will be each having a hand in making it. I will open a can of low sodium mushroom soup by Campbell's and adding my own touch to it. I will be opening up a small can of mushroom slices and pieces, cutting up a scallion, adding milk (no water) and heating up the whole mess. Now this is my idea of a good bowl of mushroom soup. Do you add your own touches to a can of soup? What's for dinner in your home tonight?

I'm not sure what dinner will be yet, but that does sound like it would be delicious. I've used campbell's soups in a lot of things. My favorite is using a can of cream of celery in a baked potato soup.

@HazySue I use the cream of mushroom in green bean casserole, and I think I've used it in a chicken pot pie casserole once or twice.

@HazySue That does sound delicious. I prepare my chicken on the stove top. I prefer cutting the pieces up.

That sounds good too. I found they have a cream of chicken and mushroom soup that is also good.

@HazySue I've never added my own touches to soup before but definitely considered! I hope you enjoy your dinner! Though it's getting close to 2am, I'm just making myself some chips and gravy.

We've been buying Progresso Soup and don't have to add anything to it. Enjoy your soup. My main meal for today was a hot dog.

Sounds good to me. The soup in the picture looks attractive, but I don't see milk in there. I'm not sure yet what I'll have for dinner tonight. I sure do doctor my soups, though.
