I'm always amazed and awed that we can often see the moon during the day. We can also see the craters - and all with the naked eye.
It sure looks closer than we are told...
I like this photo with the crow (as far as I know but I can't recall the difference between them, ravens and black birds)
I'm gonna call this a crow (as in California crow) as it was taken at Coronado island where my middle daughter lives.

I thought a blue moon was when there's two full moons within the same month

@isweartokira You're probably correct. In fact I am pretty sure you are correct. I had forgotten as I had known before.

I thought that only happened once... (remember, I'm blonde. I can only think so hard, ha ha)

that's a really cool shot! I always like seeing the moon and sun out at the same time, feels mystical

@WriterRuth It’s odd that the moon is there in the daytime. So confusing.

Surely it must be the same for you? Maybe you are just not looking? ;-)

The moon is clearer when seen at dawn that is when there is a full moon.

I love looking at it at various times though the photo I provided is not the greatest. Taken from my iphone8+

It;s a nice shot of the crow and the moon. Yes, sometimes we can see the moon even on daytime.
