It was just a breaking news last night. I thought it was nothing serious. But as video clippings in fb started to stream I realized that earthquake was really strong it was a 6.3 and there were commercial buildings that were affected. I heard there’s one that is still burning at this time. All school levels were suspended there to asses the building integrity there. I suddenly think of my fellow mylotters who lives in those areas.... I hope they can update themselves here.

I was just checking here to see how the Filipinos on myLot are doing. A mall is on fire so I hope everyone was out before it started burning. I'm going to check by occasionally today to see if others are checking in. We need a "mark yourself safe" slot in myLot or something.

It's good you're not affected for the earthquake is somewhere in Southern part of Mindanao.

@Nakitakona Yes but it was not that strong. Iurs was somewhat like 4-5 only. I am afraid if a quake that strong will surely be very bad in my place since there’s a lot if buildings around the place.

@crazyhorseladycx the aftershocks were not as string anymore and so far no one is affected except maybe just shaken and surprised by the tremors they feel.

I hope that things worked out. Here, earthquakes are practically unknown.

@sol_cee I heard of that news too. But I believe most are not noticeable anymore. But it still is never wracking if you are there. I know for people who are traumatized by it they tend to become very sensitive to slight movements of the ground. They tend to be extra alert on anything that moves the ground even though not related to earthquakes anymore.
