Yo Quiero Taco Bell

So, it's the last night in a hotel on the road until I am back home tomorrow. Stuck in Mauston, Wisconsin at a palatial Super 8. Right down the street is a Taco Bell, and while I am not a HUGE fan, from time to time I like the cheap of it, and the food is not THAT bad...
Great to keep the bowels moving too, mind you.
So, I am thinking of having Taco Bell. Got my mind on their chicken quesadillas, some chicken soft tacos, and at least a Burrito Supreme. I have not left yet for it, but I will soon.
Yo quiero Taco Bell tonight. Just saying. I think it sounds good.

I love Taco Bell and never have those kind of after effects.

Hey that is My line. I used to say that all the time at a place I formely worked. It confused them employees and some of the Mexican people thought I was talking smack. I then had to explain it so I did not get in trouble. The little dog. Yo Querio Taco bell. OH ok, I guess that is kind of funny. They eventually learned that means is everything OK and do you need help with anything. Funny how things get blown out of proportion when you just trying to make miserable people smile.

@porwest Good thing I do not claim to me one of those. Kai says I am a liberal. We liberated her from the pound. I am like Kai, shh, keep that on the down low.

@crossbones27 Oh, I know it. Happens to me every time I talk to a liberal.

I think many people buy too much into some of these "reports" on various ingredients used by certain companies. Most food is processed, no matter what it is, that is prepackaged, and I often wonder why no one asks what's in those things? Or how they are made?
Most store bought imitation crab meat, chicken nuggets, fish sticks, Salisbury steak, even frozen pizzas and lasagnas.
Take sausage on a frozen pizza for example. It is meat that comes in a long thick tube as one massive glob, that gets processed through a crumbler and fed up through an auger into a bin that then feeds the meat onto the pizzas as they pass by on flex belts. The augers are "scooped" often, and fed back into the crumbler to reuse throughout the production process.
I worked for many years in the food industry, having worked for Kraft Foods, Nestlé, and Coca-Cola. There are things people would not enjoy to see when it comes to most things. lol
BUT, the reality is that there is nothing wrong with the final product produced even if how we get there seems a little more than gross.
No one ever picks on anyone else but the fast food chains. It puzzles me sometimes. Because the things happening in production facilities of processed foods is way more disturbing on the inside than people would ever care to know.

@gnatsmom I just think people look for reasons to complain about things and find justification for not doing other certain things. The thing I look at is, our life spans are ADVANCING. Not declining. When I was growing up a man who was 50 years old looked like he was 80. Now a 50 year old guy looks like he's 35 or 40. People lived to their 70s. Now they live well into their 90s. If all the stuff we have now is so bad...
How come we are healthier and living longer? lol

I haven't eaten anything from Taco Bell in years, no reason really except not a big fan of Mexican food in general.

@1creekgirl I paid for it the next day. Amazing the laxative effects of Taco Bell. Ugh.

The quesadilla sounds great! They got rid of my favorite item on the menu, at least here...a cheesy potato burrito!

@porwest I would too....although now they have a chicken enchilada burrito that is pretty good, if you take out the rice lol. Aren't the quesadillas one of the most expensive menu items?
