That's my youngest kid, Lian, trying to catch frog at the ricefield using this stick with bait. Playful as she is, I don't know if she can really catch one if the frog bite her bait. You know frog it is slimy and slippery, yeah just like snake. So I want to see if she's brave enough to hold once she pulls up. Unluckily, no frog that day because the field is already dried and frogs live only in watery part of the fields. When I was a child, I'm like here, playful and adventurous. And I used to play in that kind of environment.

Yes I think so but for those who have actually tasted frogs, they like it very much.

That is nice that your child enjoys your place and can freely roam around the place.

@rsa101 agree, snakes are far more dangerous than frogs.

I still remind here to be aware of snakes because snakes roam around this season and they are more dangerous.

When I was a kid I never used stick and a bait to catch frog. I directly waded on the water or on the rice paddies and catch the frog by my bare hands.

Whoa reminds me of my childhood hihihihi I was able to catch frogs then using earthworms as bait. One time, instead of frog, I caught a rat. Awwww It ran away with my bait so I had to put another earthworm...
