When we attended an activity in one of the remote rural village here, we didn't expect the local people will host and welcome us in traditional way.
The community which belongs to the Indigenous community are dressed in their traditional costume and playing with their old musical instrument like the gongs which they call gangsa.
They are dancing the folkdance which is called tadek. Then they invited the guests to dance with them.
Well, the community is actually going with the present way of living: electricity, mobile phones, led tv, vans and other vehicles, among others.
But they still perform the traditions and cultural practices in certain occasions and when visitors come.
I'm sure there are like this in your country?

Yes, some festivals are intended to relieve and reminisce our cultures and traditions. It is the time when people give importance of what people doing and believing in the past.

We have many tribes here and these indigenous communities have their own distinction from other tribes and places, though there are some things they have the same. The musical instrument which is gangsa also used by other tribes.

Just like the Japanese who really maintain their cultural and traditional ways amid the new technologies and modern living. In here some indigenous people communities are really trying hard to preserve their forefathers way.

some of these instruments are really hard to play. It will much time before you can play it well. Though there are some musical instruments that are very easy to play.
