I managed to get the grocery store run done and home just in tie for the LSU-Auburn football game.
I had to wait in line for checkout almost as long as it took me to get what I needed. Then when I finally got done, I noticed that she overcharged me on one item that was on sale. The difference was over $2.00 so I went to Customer Service and joined the line there.
Finally got out of there!! I have missed the kickoff for all of our big games or missed the whole first quarter so I wanted to catch this one since we are playing the #9 team (Auburn).
Very impressed that our fans are making so much noise. One of my daughters called me while I was in the store saying that this is the loudest she has heard the crowd noise before. She lives right outside the LSU gates. The game had not even started at that time.
Hoping that our #2 Tigers give the Auburn Tigers a spanking!! Geaux Tigers!!
Our mascot is a Bengal Tiger, named Mike. Auburn has an eagle as their mascot. The photo is not our actual mascot, but a photo from Pixabay. I had lots of pictures of the real Mike when I worked there but they are not on this new laptop.

I'm conflicted on this game. On one hand, I want Auburn to win because you beat us and we beat Auburn. On the other hand, I want LSU to win because I think they've got the greatest shot of beating Alabama. What I'm actually hoping will happen is that LSU wins out in their remaining SEC West games; and that Florida wins out in their remaining SEC East games, sending both LSU and Florida to the SEC Championship for a big rematch!

@kareng You just take of business on your end, and we'll try to take care of business on our end. And then we'll meet up in the SEC championship. Would be a fun ride, that's for sure!

@CarolDM I was referring to @andriaperry and her comment that she is AL fan, so kick Auburn's butt! I'm the die-hard LSU Tiger fan.
We will be taking care of business on the field in two weeks! Geaux Tigers! We'll be sending the Tide out to SEA!

Every time I hear about long lines in supermarkets, I send a silent 'thank you' to our local one. As soon as there is more than two people waiting in line, they call up another checkout girl. So there are never any angry or impatient people and no stressed servers. It's great.
