Up Early Tuesday Thanks Dude

The Dude was in rare form before daylight this morning. Running through the house. Chasing Brendel. And banging the blinds against the windows.
Yes he does all of this just for me. He talks the entire time. Instead of getting in the bed with me and going to sleep, he wants me up. And then he goes back to sleep.
Sometimes I wonder if he has issues or just really spoiled. Maybe both. So that was my wake up call.

It is amazing the different personalities a cat can have. I've had cats that made laps around the house in the early hours of the morning, and cats that wake you up because "It's clearly time to eat" and then cats that sleep in and give a glare when you accidentally wake them up.
One cat would sit on your face if you did not have her food out by 6 am.

I get woken in no uncertain terms by an attack on the bedroom door at 6am most mornings with all four feet scrabbling at the panels. Sometimes I get a very tiny 'meow' when I let him in - I'm never sure whether it's a 'Good Morning' or an 'About time too!'. Then he will wait, somewhat impatiently, while I wake up. If I'm taking longer than expected, I feel a gently paw on my arm, as if to say 'You're not going to sleep again, are you?'. So we gather my coffee cup and go and get my coffee and his food.

Ask the dude if his middle name is Nico..lol. We have the same carryings on here most mornings..although today he was a bit calmer.

oh those cats! the resident cat here'll howl 't my door 'til such's open. then she wanders off to 'her' section 'f the house. 'f course i can't go back to sleep, so she wins, lol.
