Do you take a shower in the morning or evening?

I always enjoy taking my bath at night before going to bed, especially during winter. The house is warmer at night and I don't need to wake up so early in the morning.
My kids also take a shower in the evening but in their case, it is before dinner while my husband always prefers taking shower in the morning no matter if he had taken in the evening as well.

I always take a shower in the evening. I get up super early in the morning, so I don't want to wake up my girlfriend by spending any excessive amount of time in the bathroom. I try to be as considerate as I can in the morning.

@nela13 I wake up 2 hours earlier than her to go to work, so I really don't want to wake her if she can sleep for those extra hours. However, there are definitely some mornings that I really want to take a shower just to help wake me up!

@moffittjc In the morning it helps us to wake up and in the evening it helps us to relax.

I normally take a bath or shower at night time to help take away those ache and pains I might get during the day. I don’t take one every night because it’s bad for your skin so it’s every couple of nights.

@nela13 not so much skin. It dries it out, it also loses what actual bugs are good for our bodies same as what bacteria we are suppose to have. It so good to clean your selfie ever couple of days. Unless your always sweaty or work the medical field they suggestion bathing every other nice.

It is true, more than one bath a day is bad for us as we are destroying our skin.

@ShyBear88 that is true, doctors are always saying that we don't need a bath everyday.

Let me make it clear that I take a bath and not just a shower. Anyway, I do both - one in the morning before dressing up and another in the evening before bedtime.

@nela13 I don't care about those studies on health. I just do what I enjoy. For all we know there's no truth to such talks.

I am used to taking cold shower in the morning. We don't have hot water, that's why. But then we don't have winter so cold shower is okay. Yet there are those very cold mornings and you just have to battle taking ice cold shower, your teeth chattering, your body shivering. lol

Three showers a day?! My dermatologist only recommends one short bath/shower a day, more than that we are destroying our skin barrier, besides that I have sensitive skin.

A quick one in morning and a good hot shower before bed which is little longer and elaborate.

@nela13 I don't use soap in morning. It's just a quick one to wake me up. The evening one is elaborate one.

It all depends. If o have a meeting or something I will shower in the morning. When I work in the evening, I shower in the afternoon. Plenty of days I go to the gym in the morning then shower. Some days I skip showing if I’m staying home or didn’t really get sweaty the day before.
Occasionally I’ll take a really shower right before bed.

It is almost the same that I do. It always makes sense to me take a shower at night after a long day.
My dermatologist told me to take short showers and only 1 a day as more than that we are destroying our skin.

Always in the morning and very few times at evening-- only during summer and the temperature is so humid that I need to cool down and clean my body.
