This gorgeous calico 'tis one 'f the ferals. Don't let 'er good looks fool ya, she's like a cross 'twixt a wildcat 'n a she-devil! Her eyes'll pierce right through ya, sendin' chills down yer spine.
Prolly'll not be here Saturday 's the grands 're comin'. With the hubs damaged shoulder 'n my hiccups 't ought'a be interestin'. The youngest 'tis near 10 months ol' 'n 'nto e'erythin'. No doubt there's gonna be lots 'f "not yers" bein' said.
The elder 'tis 4 'n I'm a tad worried 'bout his care. With CASK syndrome, he's many health issues. Needs suctioned, currently wearin' oxygen 'n 'tis tube fed. The seizures he 'ndures worry me most though. Jest rips yer heart out to see lil tears run down that sweet face.
Got tickled't the hubs when he 'nquired 's to where the baby gate'd be. Uhm??? We've ne'er 'd a baby gate. Not with ours, nor the elder grands. Must been his other wife?
Anyhow, I'm hopin' we can tend 'em both proper. Plan to get some videos 'n pics. Fear fer the critters 's he's none'n his household. Hopefully I can keep him entertained 'n tend his brother 't the same time. Sadly their folks've a funeral to 'ttend.
Not complainin', I cherish e'ery moment with these young fella's. They're my heart'n I don't get to seem 'em oft 'nough. Wish 's luck!

I love that kitty. My favorite kind, but I have not had one for many years. The grandkids of course are a blessing, even with the challenge.

she's free to a good home if'n ya wish to gentle her :) there's several calicoes here now, though sadly some've perished (out'n the road...).
yes ma'am, huge blessin'. jest wish i 'twas 'round 'em more oft so'd feel more comfy with the eldest young'uns needs. he's a smile that'll jest melt'cher heart.

She is either a beautiful kitty or you are a great photographer!
Have fun with the grandkids today. We have a family wedding to attend, and we are looking forward to seeing all of our nieces and nephews and their spouses as well as my husband's siblings. No better time then family time.

@crazyhorseladycx It was a really beautiful wedding, but also very emotional, and I did not take 1 single photo.
The bride's father, who is my hubby's eldest brother, had another mini stroke 2 days before the wedding. His wife, my sister-in-law, had a heart to heart with me, she told me that she just signed a DNR for him. She cried as she told me, and she kept on asking me if I knew exactly what that means, and of course I told her exactly what that means, and that I love her and support her.
Besides having to do that, planning for her daughter's wedding, she has 3 grown kids, all of which are on different levels of acceptance of their Dad's health condition. It was weighing heavy on her shoulders and she needed me to lean on.
So...….no photos, but more 'I love you's" then ever in my life, and a lot of tears and recalling sweet memories.

'tis a hard decision to come to, but necessary. seems young'uns' e'en some family members get mighty 'pset when they find such's bein' done. not wishin' to let go. i'm sure there 'twas a photographer 'n they've great pics yer gonna get copies 'f. 'twas more 'mportant to share memories 'n jest be there. my heart jest aches with this news. keepin' y'all close 't heart durin' these tryin' times.

she's jest that gorgeous :) 'tis a shame she's that ugly temperament. all the other ferals tend to stay far 'way from her 's ya jest ne'er know what's gonna set'er off.
how wonderful to 've a weddin' to 'njoy all. wish such 'twas the circumstance here. alas, these thingies happen.

'tis been 12 years since we've 'd a crawler/learnin' to walk young'un 'round. that'll be interestin'. the hubs's been complainin' coz he'd the need to remove all sharp objects down'n the livin' room. i found 't a blessin' coz i 'twas finally able to clean the carpet! nope, not 'llowed to touch his schtuff...
i'm sure we'll do jest fine. though i confess to bein' a tad nervous 'bout the elder. he's gotta be carried 'n weighs 'bout 45lbs now. hopin' the body holds'p. mine, not his. he's a great snuggle bunny!

thanks, hon. 'njoyed e'ery minute with those young'uns. 'tis a miracle that he lived, spent 3 days'n n.i.c.u. 'n the docs still were'n denial somethin' 'twas amiss. 'twas not 'til he started havin' seizures 't 2 months that any jumped 'nto action. which infuriated me somethin' awful....
they started him'n aggressive therapy'n that seems to be workin' quite well. he can finally roll from side to side, 's more voluntary movement 'n they're workin' to teach him to communicate via'n ipad app. he 'twas'n great spirits, which warmed my heart. the wee 'un 'twas a delight, too. i'd fergotten how hard 't 'tis fer me to get off the floor, but sure 'njoyed playin' with 'em both fer hours. what 'twas to be a couple hours turned 'nto 8. ticked off the hubs, but i loved e'ery moment 'n then the 2 hour visit with the son 'n daughter'nlaw when they returned.
i figure they needed that break with their friends 'n to go out'n eat. havin' a young'un with such diff'culties 'n then 'nother crawlin' 'n tryin' to walk 'tis gotta be 'xhaustin'. they're great parents though 'n i'm most proud 'n thankful fer that.

@nela13 i'm most happy with how he's doin', too. hopefully the progress'll continue. communication 'f any sort'd be fantastic!
they're great parents, very dotin' 'n 'ttentative. i'm very proud 'f 'em both. they've a great support system where they live'n her parents're jest 'bout 15 minutes 'way. i feel they needed that time 'n i 'twas more'n glad to've those yummy boys!

Beautiful cat!
All the street cats in Athen say hello, I've been there for a week with work. Spent much of time looking at cats, it's a lot of cats there. Most of them quite well fed, being a outdoor cat there is probably easier than as far north as here.

@crazyhorseladycx We said hello to quite a few of them, so they seem to be used to people and cared for, they just don't live inside. Being an outdoor cat all the time here in the winter is really too cold, but of course there's quite a few who seems to think that cats have enough for to survive.

@Torunn there's a couple 'f ferals here who're purty friendly. to the point they'll come sit'n yer lap 'r jest flop o'er right'n front 'f ya whilst yer walkin' (usually when i've'n armload 'f hay) 'n wish their belly rubbed. i do my best not to get 'ttached to 'em. 'mpossible task.
these've lots 'f warm places to slumber out'n the barn'n the garages. i 'ctually convinced the hubs to transform'n ol' cabinet fer such. where's other critters 'd 've a diff'cult time gettin' to 'em. 'tis insulated, ol' blankets 'n a few critter beds. must be purty toasty'n there coz they're water ne'er seems to freeze'n the winter. i'd say they're purty spoiled 'n 'tis no wonder they continue to hang 'round. fed twice a day, lots 'f shelter.

there'd be a few 'f the ferals here who're quite friendly 'n speak 's long 's yer not too close. this'un? she'll rip ya a new'un fer e'en lookin' her direction too long, lol. i 'magine folks take good care 'f the cats there fer rodent control. i'm sure 'tis a much easier life than y'all's bitter cold winters :)

I'm glad he's improved @crazyhorseladycx Yeah, I'd be tuckered out in an hour if I were sittin for a younun with those kinds of ailments plus having another crawling around. I don't think I could do it.
I'm glad you got some time with your grands.
Yeah, Ally is leary of Meetzee too and I honestly believe the lil beach would attack her if it weren't for me forebading it, I get after her if she hisses at her.

the resident cat here'll go to the pups 'n act's though she jest wishes to say hi, then'll smack the crap out'ta 'em. fer no 'pparent reason. she gets'n trouble quite a bit these days. perhaps regressin' to kittenhood?

oh, he's 'd a rough time since birth. he's workin' hard though with all his therapies 'n there's been lots 'f 'mprovement. he 'twas'n a wonderful mood saturday. 'njoyed 'em both! fergot how physical havin' a crawler 'twas, lol.
aw, ya got one, too? this'un dislikes all the other cats - her momma'n kittens, too. fights with all. the pups're terrified 'f her.

@Janet357 she's sure'n interestin' coat pattern. her tail 'tis short 'n crooked. i suspect she's some persian 's well 's manx'n her bloodlines. she's a kitten who's the longer hair, very few calico markin's, but the same tail.

@CarolDM they finally showed 'bout 1pm. 'd the boys 'til 'bout 9:30, which thrilled me to no end. the hubs 'twas not so thrilled. they jest left 'bout 12:30am. they're gonna be sleepin' durin' church, lol. 'twas a great day with the worst hiccup bein' the feedin' tube machine. started flashin' 'low battery' 'n they'd the charger fer such with 'em. i'd fergotten how much fun, 'n work, a crawler can be! loved e'ery sec 'f 't :)
