Did you ever plan your travel on your own?

Did you ever plan your travel on your own? Where to start? Is it very complicated? Isn't it easier to approach a travel agency with your wishes and expect it to make sure expectations are met? I got the impression that planning trips on your own are still tedious. I am not a travel expert, but there seems to me to be no better way to travel than with my plan, desires, visions, expectations. Of course, a lot depends on the country we choose, for some not English talking countries it is may better to see the agency's proposals, but if the trip turns around Europe or the US, we have already experienced that it is really possible to plan it on your own. What's more, if you do everything consistently, point by point, travel planning becomes more of a pleasure than a hassle. © lillywriter, 2019

I've never traveled on my own. Usually, I'm traveling with my husband and kids, or someone.

It sounds like a funny and great time spending. Family always makes us feel better.

@lilywriter I would never use a travel agent. Much easier to plan a trip independently.

Of course, if it would be your first travel, you may be nervous. But when you gain more experience, you may stop being nervous.

I have travelled by myself many times. I planned it myself and did all the booking online.

@lillywriter When I used to travel I would plan where I would go and contact others if I would visit them. If I drove I would decide where I wanted to go on my way to places I have not seen before.
