It Was A Stay in Your Jammies Kind of Day

I admit it, it is 10:30 p.m. and I am in my jammies, well still in my jammies, I never got dressed today. I am going to go up soon and take a shower and get some new jammies.
I have had so many writing assignments that I pretty much spent the day on my recliner writing. One thing about being a freelancer, you have to take the work when it is available. I have written over 30 articles this week and I still have 9 to go once my titles are approved.
This is the perfect time of year to make some extra money.
I did do a little housework, vacuumed the family room and hall, did the dishes, okay loaded the dishwasher and ran it and cooked lunch and dinner.
I did a few things I been meaning to do as well, made an appointment for the dogs at the vet and signed some paperwork for my investments.
I did spend a couple of hours on some genealogy which was very relaxing with all the other writing work I was doing.
All in all a quiet day. Tomorrow I meet my friend for breakfast and pedicures and then come back home for the pool takedown. It is going to be warmer tomorrow which is a really good thing.
I hope everyone had a great week. The photo is my geranium blooming in spite of the cold.

Nice shot.
I am amazed at how much writing and research you do. I'm completely lazy in comparison. I only did 2 loads of laundry and one load is still on the line drying, I hope. Well, I did add points to the Irazoo account which gives me $5 gift cards every month or so and worked the games on Swagbucks and Inbox dollars. No getting rich anytime soon but hey, 5 bucks is 5 bucks.

@rebelann Yes I have 8 more that I will have to write tomorrow so I am vegging again. I overdid it this week with too many assignments. That is another reason I so enjoyed the distraction of working on your genealogy, it is relaxing for me.

I like comfy clothes, but not really jammies. I did go out and work in the shed with hubby and so I am in jeans and a thermal shirt. I have some writing to do but not as much as you do. I am trying to do more. I like soft knit pants and shirts that I can go out in public, and people just think I am wearing "old lady" clothes.

oh glad it has warmed back up for you and you are still being so productive. Man you sure know how to get things done even in your jammies. I am smiling at that picture of you in my mind

It has been cold here the past two days, it rains all the time, when it is not raining it's a bit of snow. Being obliged to stay at home is not too bad, I am cleaning the house and doing a lot of things that I procrastinated. All the geraniums are inside now, they fear the cold.

lol I do it about once a month and today I did go out and go to church and shipping and then came home and took a nap in my recliner. lol I love Sundays.

@BelleStarr The issue with my computer is totally scary. Its eaten my files. Yes. My writing files, my documents, my photos. GONE. Huge blessing: I sent many of my writings to my daughter so she has it safe. There is one short story that I was working on and I can't find it. I need to find a computer person. And pray. I worked on that poem and kept it by using daughter's e-mail and my paper journal.

I wasn't thinking that it was for me, but then....I rolled over and went back to sleep and slept until 11:30 AM. I did eventually get out of my jammies, though.
