Today it is Christmas songs that are in my head

I have been singing and humming Christmas tunes since I got up this morning. I am not sure my coworkers appreciate it but I have been hit with the Christmas spirit. Oh how I love this time of year. When my parents were living I spent every Christmas with them and when Dad passed I would spend them with mom and then when Mom passed away I remember thinking that I would never enjoy another Christmas. Yes Christmases have changed since then and I do miss those times but I have started new traditions and spend my time with my children and grandchildren. I love all the Hustle and Bustle of the holiday season. I love how excited all the little ones are and how families are planning their get togethers. I love the music,the decorations, the concerts, the church services, the parades and the list goes on. I love buying extra presents and donating to causes that help those who need it. I love to see the smiles and the joy and I love to bring happiness to whoever I can. I know not everybody enjoys it and it can be a tough and sad time of year for many and I can understand that. I feel blessed for every year that I am given and every holiday season that I get to celebrate. For me it truly is the most wonderful time of the year!!
