Maybe other people have seen these little signs in their hotels. I have never seen one and it tickled me. What a clever way to say "don't steal!" I do not know if it works, but hopefully it makes people think about it. I love this idea.
Have you seen one or anything similar? What do you think?

We stay in hotels frequently, and I’ve never seen anything like that. Who on earth would ever want to take those items?
I have seen bottled water for sale in the US, but gratis in foreign countries. Robes can also be bought. I think it’s a little subtle hint that they’re not for keeping. lol

I have never seen one but I do know that my brother and sister in law had a motel and people stole all sorts of things from the rooms.

@BelleStarr what a shame, I know they know better too. People don't think past themselves. These are businesses and things like that add to their overhead and decrease their profits.

Now this hotel notice made me laugh. I have not seen anything like this in the hotel's I've been to.

@spiderdust I wish they would stop and think about, it all comes back to bite us in the bottom eventually. Costs go up for them, hen costs go up for us alll.

It's a great idea and they should charge because nothing is free

I've never seen them before either and maybe it's some of the help that is taking the items home and not the guests.

I have seen signs at some workplaces that read "Your mom does not work here. Clean up after the mess you make when you finish your meal."

A PC approach to those who permanently borrow hotel items. Never seen a sign like that. I bet the guest would have a heck of a time sneaking an ironing board out of the hotel
