Things to do before the 1st Advent

At last I am done washing my living room curtains. It took me a whole afternoon to clean the window, wash the curtains, hang them and cleaning the heater and the floor.
Now, I am enjoying my boiled sweet potatoes while Mylotting and watching the movie on the tv.
I have to do some of the things before the first Advent:
1. Organizing my winter clothes and put my summer clothes up high in my bedroom cupboard and I will only use them next year in summer.
2, Organizing my kitchen cupboards.
3. Decorating my living room for the Advent and Christmas with Advent candles.
4. Baking cookies for the first Advent Sunday.
Do you have any plan for this coming week?

Thanksgiving is on Thursday in the United States; and we will be giving thanks and eating a whole lot of food! That is the weekend that I will write up the Christmas cards and get them ready to mail the first week in December.

No, it is a catholic thing. There are only 4 Advent Sundays and those are the Sundays before the Christmas Eve. An advent calendar has 24 doors. Every day starting from December 1 to 24, you have to open the door and eat the chocolate which is behind those close doors. Thank you @shaggin

Only 3 plans left to do on my list @just4him. I have done the others yesterday.
Do you still have the same address? I am sure my Christmas card from the Philippines last year didn´t arrive to you. I don´t like the Philippines post anymore. Anyway, I am in Germany now.

I already organized my winter clothes, the curtains of the living room and dining room are done. I have to wash the windows again because the rain and the wind have messed them up yesterday. We have three professional appointments the next week, I will think to Christmas in 8 days.
