Simple Chicken Recipe? Anyone? / myLot

Okay, so I was scrolling down youtube for a simple Chicken recipe but all of them were pretty hard to follow. Most of the recipes uses oven and I don't have any. i would like to cook something good for dinner tonight and chicken is one of me and my husband's favourite. Can someone suggest any? It's a simple dinner while watching movie. just want to make something special for him when he comes home from work. I'll post the recipe that I will make tomorrow.

@mlgen1037 That's not a problem. Its not too late to learn to cook tho. I'm sure your husband will be happy when he sees you in an apron and cooking in the kitchen. I know you can do it.

Try chicken curry, chicken in tomato sauce recipe, chicken in cream sauce etcetera. Sounds complicated but they are actually simple and most ingredients are staples in the kitchen. Just type chicken recipe and you've got a list and there are plenty that does not need oven. I know because I searched and I often look for recipes in YouTube.

My original recipe is roasted chicken. But for a saucy chicken, you can saute garlic and onion and fry the chicken. When almost cooked, add tomato sauce, soy sauce and green peas. You can also add carrots.

what appliances do you have I do not oven either I use the stove top or my counter top toaster oven. I have many chicken recipes I usually use just sauté the chicken in a pan and add toss it in my dry rub seasonings of lemon pepper salt pepper herbal seasoning ginger and cinnamon to taste.

You can tell us about how you made the chicken but you cannot post recipes here. If you make it like a story about what you made that is OK. If you don't have an oven you could do very well by getting a slow cooker in which you can put all the ingredients and cook them,

@Aupril23 I can suggest a way to cook chicken. You can do it in a crockpot if you have one or in pot. You can put potaotes, carrots, chicken and put some honey and ketchup and spices and fill with water and cook on the burner.

I think u can make fried chicken, or sweet and spicy chicken. Thats what I do to my cooking blog
