snow has arrived

I was watching a Christmas movie when something caught my eye out the window. I looked and there were huge flakes of snow coming down. Some danced by my window before falling to the ground. It was SO pretty and I was mesmerized by it all.
We didn't get much. I went downstairs to see and a friend was coming in from walking her dog. She said the dog loved running in the snow. It's VERY cold out there and there's only a thick coating on the ground, but it's the wet stuff, so someone could conceivably have a snowball fight!
I've always loved snow, mostly because I never had to move much of it out of the way. By the time it was my turn, we had a snow blower and that was more fun than work. And I never really had too much trouble driving in it.
Now there's nothing for me to do but watch it fall and walk around in it a little bit, and that's fine with me. It looks so pretty, especially now that many of the houses in the little village here are putting up their Christmas lights. What a beautiful time of year!
Peace
Claudia

I absolutely love the snow and always wish for lots of it. The past few years we've seen more than usual, and I hope this year we will see lots of snow as well. We need the temperatures to drop just a little bit and stay that way before it can happen though.
I am the one that goes out and walks around in it. I am also the one that puts a bowl on the car to catch the snow.

@CRK109 I get that quite a bit as well. Snow is so peaceful, and it's magical to be outside and watching it fall.
