snow has arrived

I was watching a Christmas movie when something caught my eye out the window. I looked and there were huge flakes of snow coming down. Some danced by my window before falling to the ground. It was SO pretty and I was mesmerized by it all. We didn't get much. I went downstairs to see and a friend was coming in from walking her dog. She said the dog loved running in the snow. It's VERY cold out there and there's only a thick coating on the ground, but it's the wet stuff, so someone could conceivably have a snowball fight! I've always loved snow, mostly because I never had to move much of it out of the way. By the time it was my turn, we had a snow blower and that was more fun than work. And I never really had too much trouble driving in it. Now there's nothing for me to do but watch it fall and walk around in it a little bit, and that's fine with me. It looks so pretty, especially now that many of the houses in the little village here are putting up their Christmas lights. What a beautiful time of year! Peace Claudia
