Discount on gasoline

There is a supermarket here that members are granted a 15% discount on gasoline for every purchase worth 3,000 pesos ($60). Since it is along the way from office to home so we have been availing the discount for several years now. This supermarket specializes in imported goods.

@Alexandoy I was so fascinated by the car. In my childhood we could see lot of them plying on our roads. we even had them as taxis. We were under Portuguese rule then and the imports were not banned as it was later on post independence in 1961.

@msdivkar I remember when we moved to Mandaluyong, I was in 2nd grade. The Mercedes Benz taxi was colored yellow. I think I had taken a ride just once with my grandma.

@Alexandoy Unfortunately those cars have no more a high value here, due to the many "anti pollution" rules.

I always fill up from the supermarket's Caltex station. The coupon is honored only there.
