My old shoes

My old pair of leather shoes is officially retired today. I bought it when we had a trip to Hongkong. Bad idea. It was okay with my feet until the next day when I started feeling a slight pain that I ignored. On the 3rd day, I was roaming the streets of Hongkong in slippers. The 2 small toes of the left and right foot were very sore that I couldn't even wear socks. In the airport, I couldn't walk straight due to the pain.
At home after a few days, the toenails were just hanging by the side, ouch, so painful. That's courtesy of the new pair of shoes... that is now retired.

@TiarasOceanView Thank you for the concern. That was 5 years ago.

It was really so painful for several days until the toenail slowly released itself from the toe.

Its amazing how important how our feet feel. Any discomfort draws all of our attention. I love good shoes. I often buy mine at a thrift shop....they are used and comfortable and a LOT cheaper. lol

You are right with the comfort. I am used to having only 1 pair since I was a boy and that habit had stuck on me.
