@LowRiderX I forgot that you are a couple of weeks behind us. I remember when we celebrated the Ortodox Christmas with Russian friends in Monte Carlo, it was around the day of our Epiphany (January 6th).

@LadyDuck Yes, Orthodox Christmas is January 7 and is celebrated for three days and Serbian New Year (Orthodox but we call it Serbian here) is celebrated on January 13-14, according to the Gregorian calendar. We welcome the New Year in the house on December 31, because it reminds me of my childhood and it was always celebrated, on the January 13th holiday was introduced relatively soon, so we adopted it

@jstory07 I celebrated the New Year on 31th december because that's how I got used to it when I was a kid, it started celebrating here a few years ago and Serbian New Year (Orthodox New Year) So the real celebration here (nationwide) is only expected at 13th/14th night while Christmas is January 7th and is celebrated for three days
