I've been very busy the last few weeks making Christmas ornaments. It has been a joy to learn to make some of these (I still have many more styles to learn) and so much fun! It's a wonderful outlet for my artistic side to take over and create, and that's something I haven't really done in ages.
I am giving a small group of ornaments as gifts this year, and will be making more in 2020 for gifts next year with (hopefully) better fabrics and ribbons and embellishments. I've already purchased some fabric for Valentine's Day to make some ornaments and other decorations for that time of year. I know quite a few people who love decorating for that, and I'm sure they will be surprised.
The photo here is one of my ornaments. I rounded up a Christmas basket that I've had for about 20 years or so and right now it's filled with ornaments that I've made. Since I only have a "Charlie Brown" Christmas tree, I had to place my ornaments in the basket. I think that next year some of mine will be hanging from curtain rods!
Peace
Claudia

How is it that I've not run into you around the site this year? I've been placing friends name on a notepad for when I can no longer remember their usernames and a already had your on my list from 2016.
How are you doing these days?
Whoops, I just realized this was from last year. So you've not been around recently. If and when you return look me up.
I've been around more this past month because I was home with wounds on my foot but now that they are finally healed I head back to work tomorrow.
You could maybe sell the ornaments online too if you made enough early enough.

That's very clever. As you say, it's a great outlet for your creativity. I, for one, would love to receive these as a gift.
