What do you think happens to our souls/Consciousness when we die?
Will we cease to exist? Done.
Does our spirit go to a place heavenly or hellish dependent on how we lived?
Or does our consciousness remain but now has access to higher dimensions?
If you got to choose, which one would be the better?
What is the point? Do we have any control at all or are we just forced to exist as pure energy trying to take on new forms for some type of evolvment.
I have had various stages of Beliefs on this subject throughout my life since I was raised in a dogmatic religious upbringing. When I started thinking for myself it ended up sending me into a mad knowledge hunt. I wanted to read & research everything i was forced to believe.
I'm still in aw of the way the world has so many different ideas on this. Please tell me yours & what resonates with you the most. Or you simply go off Science tangible facts.
I had an experience with what I can only assume was a disembodied spirit & now I don't think I'll ever be the same. Now i feel i had a tiny slit of a window of confirmation.

Your experience with a disembodied spirit is the beginning of a cartload of evidential answers to all your questions. I have a good feeling you can expect to have more experiences like this. Continue seeking answers and Keep your eyes and your mind opened.

I 100% agree. I raised in a super strict religious household. I was brainwashed into not thinking for myself & if I did or questioned the word of God which Is a sin. It took me 28 years to finally wake up. The God in the Bible doesn't sound like a loving God. Why would he create earthly beings with all these urges & mental illnesses, surrounded by temptations but if we don'tive according to what he wants, then we will burn for all eternity. No one should have to burn for all eternity. The Bible was written in a time when we didn't understand the world as well & it was used to help keep order. There's several other religions established before Christianity that also have a Virgin birth. I had to study & research in depth before becoming free of the Christian mind frame. I wanted to be sure. I actually feel like a better person now that im not religious. I'm more mindful, kind, open, & less judgmental.

I think the big issue is, and part of the reason there are some many beliefs throughout the world, is that nobody has any concrete proof of what happens to us after we die. There is speculation, but even science can't 100% answer the question. So we just go on speculating. And countries, religions and people keep on killing each other trying to prove which theory is the correct one. Each person needs to seek out an answer on their own, and find a belief they are comfortable with, and not just go with what someone tells them to believe.
