Will you stay up during the New Year Eve?

I think when I was young, I would stay up and even count down during the New Year Eve.
Today I seldom will do so. I still sleep late but most of the time it is not because of the celebration. I don't have enough sleeping time. So if I can sleep earlier, I prefer to have a good sleep rather than staying up to count down
Happy New Year!

It is our custom to stay up until the revelry is over and that's around 1 am of January 1.

Perhaps we also have such kind of custom during the Chinese New Year. There will be a Chinese New Year show from Chinese New Year Eve until next morning. Now there is also New Year show in many TV channels but I just don't watch them.

@Alexandoy To most Chinese people, I think the Chinese New Year is much more important. At least we have a longer holiday

@youless yeah I heard about the festivities in the Chinese new year. You have the fireworks too.

It was a routine night for me. Fireworks woke me up.

I'm excited for the New Year that I can't sleep but sometimes I just sleep early and will just wake up when it is about 11:30 pm
