The older I get the less tolerance I have for drama. I want my life to be as stress free as possible. My health can't take it either. Family time with my sisters didn't go as well as I had hoped it would. There was an incident happened that made me leave there on not so good terms. I am not sure when or if I will ever go back there and I am fine with that.
What started out an a good holiday season ended on a not so good note..not a good start to 2020. Oh well it is what it is.
Hope you all had a good holiday season. I am back to work today and back to a normal routine.
What are you up to today?

You`re not alone, I think most families have the sibling drama.
I have to work today.

Growing up, there was a lot of drama on my mom's side of the family - and later on in life it was with my father's side. My parents have been done with their families (siblings and all) for years now and I think they are at peace with that. Leaving toxicity does wonders.

Happy New Year..my sister can be like that sometimes too. I am always her target and I am pretty sick of it. I think she got the message one time though when she was going off on me..she hasn't really done it since. She acts like she is perfect..and she is a hard worker and a devoted mother and daughter..but that doesn't make her queen of the world!

@Happy2BeMe Oh that is too bad. My brother in law is nice. I wish I could have found someone like him.

@snowy22315 my other brother in law is a sweetheart. I love him like a brother. Hard to believe that both of my brother in laws are brothers and they are nothing a like.

I can understand that one. Glad she hasn't done it to you since. My sisters and I have very different personalities. This mostly involved my brother in law who is a huge idiot and we were staying there and mys sister will always stick up for him. Anyway I will not be going back there and I am okay with that.

Sorry that you had a bad time with your sisters. Sometimes you just have to cut off a toxic part of the family.
I am not feeling all too well. I am probably going to fold the rest of my clothes and then watch some television and occasionally get on mylot.

@Happy2BeMe I am feeling a bit better. It's mostly sulphur burps. I think I had too many mints the past few days.

Sometimes, unfortunately, drama finds us even when we're not actively doing anything to seek it out ourselves.
I'm sorry your year ended on a sour note, and I hope your new year is better from here on out.

Perhaps if you look at it as you no longer putting up with their drama it could change your perspective

I totally understand where you are coming from as I am in the same situation as you. I am sorry that things ended on a sour note but sometimes I think it helps us define our boundaries as to what we were allow and what we won't. Praying for you

There were times when I didn't speak to my sister. I don't get along with my mother so I don't go around her much.

So sorry to hear that and it is better not to look back. I am planning on spending my weekend writing up notes and plans for this month and the new year in general in regards to my writing.

I'm sorry you're dealing with family drama. If your family is like mine and you will hopefully get over it quickly.
As far as the new year goes I am also getting back in the groove of things. My schedule goes back till normal this Saturday. Happy new year!
