In the Swing of Things Again

I hope I don’t get arrested for stealing the photo from Facebook. It made me laugh.
I had such a wonderful Friday, yesterday. I did errands at the pharmacy and everything on my list was buy one get one free.
While getting a mani/pedi, I couldn’t take my eyes off a young woman who should be the poster girl for cosmetic surgery gone wrong. I have never seen such huge lips, cheeks, or boobies on anyone that thin or young in my life.
Afterwards, I was praying that the little boutique, called WOW, I discovered last year was still in business. It was and I lugged home a gigantic bag of goodies.
Date night was wonderful as usual.
Today, I’m returning to WOW for the newest items that will be out of the boxes in the back room. I don’t want to miss a thing from that shop.
But best of all, I have an appointment at WOW to get angel hair. It is strands of sparkles and or colors permanently put on hair, which remains until the hair strands fall out naturally.
My husband will certainly be surprised. He knows I’m going to have something done, but I didn’t tell him exactly what. He was adamant about not cutting my hair, not changing my hair color, and not braiding my hair.
I love being in the swing of things in Florida. Never a dull moment!

I do have to ask, why wouldn't your husband want you to braid your hair? I love girls who braid their hair!

My husband was thinking along the lines of Bo Derek braids. Even I know I would look foolish and ridiculous in them. I do love braids and have worn them before when my hair was longer.

@DianneN Oh, Bo Derek braids. Yeah, I never liked that look, although I was in love with Bo Derek after "Ten" came out!

I can't wait to see the picture of you in angel hair. I have to say, you're doing exactly what he told you. You're not cutting, coloring, or braiding.
I wonder what she hoped to accomplish with that 'look'. I'm sure it was hideous.

I have no idea. Could be.
Shopping is my favorite hobby. I bought so many gorgeous and unique things from dresses, to pants, capris, tops, and jackets. That store is fabulous! Everything fit and I bought everything I loved in the store.
My camera can’t capture my hair, but I did get a couple of strands. I will post it once I complete my notifications.

I only leave the old ones in Florida, but never wear them. I’m going to give a lot to a consignment shop.
I ship the new ones home to wear in the summer.

@much2say It would be so much fun, but I suppose it would get boring after a while.
I put all my new clothes in my closet and won’t look at them until I need to. That’s how I surprise myself all over again.
Seeing it in person was a shock to me. I tried so hard not to stare, but I couldn’t help myself. She caught me several times.

From what's been said previously since mylot doesn't get outside traffic what pics are used shouldn't be the issue they are on other sites. But some should label their folder that way so they don't accidentally use them elsewhere where it might count.
Have fun getting your hair done. I'd have roo grow mine or to do something like that.

That’s some drive. I hope you stop into Wow! I didn’t realize there were more than two until I looked online.
Our younger son is in Boston for the second time this week. It’s a good 2 hour 30+ minute drive. I don’t know how he does it.
