Surrendering to the preset moment

Saw a post on Instagram today that said, "If you worry about something before it happens, you're worrying about it twice." That then made me think of how caught up we get in our own heads and don't often silence all the mental chatter.
Over the past year, I've been putting time aside for myself to simply be still. I write my gratitude, reflect on my day, meditate or even go for walks. These methods have been an essential part of my self-care.
I hope whoever is reading this is well and feeling grateful for everything they have because really, you have everything you need. If you have ways you find stillness and inner peace, share them here! Let's start a positive discussion.

They say that those who fear the future do not enjoy the moment, and this is true when you think about how long we spend worrying about what could happen.

I have an amazing relationship with Jesus so His peace fills me when I'm in the spiritual mindset and keep seeking Him. =)

Everyday I pray. I meditate to intune myself spiritually and be ready to face any trials or challenges in life.
