We had a relaxing four days with friends recently. We all did our own thing pretty much. Some went for walks, others read or played one of several games that they’d brought with them. One evening we played bocce/petanque/boules on the patch of lawn below the deck.
One had brought several jigsaws with her and you can see the one we completed in the top photo. The next day, when we went to lunch at a winery, there on the wall was a painting of a Friesian/Holstein cow. I think she must have been the model for the jigsaw. What do you think?

You can see it here: Each player has several balls and you have to lob them as close as you can to the little gold ball.
After my recent posts about couch-surfers and bowling greens, this occasion popped up in my memory which sort of combines the two subjects. We had three...

That's a pretty good jigsaw that I'm sure Anne Astilla (a young and cute member here -@Thrilliana ) would appreciate. She loves jigsaw puzzles.

@Thrilliana They are fun to do, aren't they? I just finished another one today. I don't do them very often as I find it hard to stop and then I get a very stiff neck. :)

@Thrilliana 2000 pieces are a lot. I had quite a lot once but only that had 2000 pieces, but most I've given away now.

That's true so maybe one wasn't the model for the other.

I guess, to be honest, there are a great many with very similar markings but the painting did catch my eye.
