A New Month and New Goals

Happy February Everyone! and a very happy Saturday too. January usually seems like such a long month but it seemed to go by pretty quickly this year. Here we are starting a new month. Have you given up on your goals or resolutions you made at the beginning of the year? I'm happy to say that I'm pretty much sticking to the goals I made. I'm reading more and I'm dropping a few pounds. I made a goal to cut back on carbs and eat more fruits and veggies. I only eat potatoes a few times a week instead of every night. My snacks are more healthy but I do allow myself to indulge once a week in something not so healthy. As for reading, I've been talking some time every afternoon to get lost in my book. Some days I have more time than others but so far I'm happy to be back in the reading mode. Since January goals are working I'm going to carry them over to February. The one thing that needs more work this month is moving more. I'm still a couch potato. I'm looking forward to February and seeing some more positive results by the time March rolls around. Tomorrow is Groundhog day....will we get an early spring? Hope so

The groundhog has taken a back seat to the pigskin. I do not do goals or resolutions. If I did the one I have would be to get rid of this cough. I am glad things are going well for you.

I haven't made any goals but I'm so glad you are doing well with yours. =) Each day I spend with God and grow in Him is a goal met for me.

It sounds like you are doing well with your goals. I have been doing OK, but have had kind of a bumpy week. I think the important thing is not to quit!

I haven't done very well with my goal. Oh well. I'm stressed enough as it is. I can't worry about it.

I've mostly lived for today since tomorrow is not guaranteed. Too many people I know make those resolutions and set goals only to disappoint themselves.

I don't believe in that stuff with Groundhog Day at all.

So glad to hear you are sticking to your goals and achieving them. I hope you get to do more moving. Being a couch potato won’t do your body much good. The Farmers Almanac predicted a mild winter, so hopefully you will get an early spring. Have a wonderful February!
