Afternoon Coffee

I'm sitting here enjoying a hot cup of coffee. I don't usually drink coffee in the late afternoon but taking a nap wasn't in the cards. For the last hour I tried desperately to close my eyes but I kept getting interrupted. First it was the phone, then the UPS truck went down the block so the dog had to bark, then the phone again ( darn robo calls) and finally a text from my son. Figured I wasn't meant to nap so here I am with a cup of coffee. Gotta go with the flow....

Maybe a small piece of cake or pie will give you a short boost then when it's over you'll be ready for bed.

I'm sorry you didn't get your nap! I was just thinking about a hot cup of tea here. It's 46 here (the high today) with wind chill at 42. A little nippy for the south!
