My favorite book is Gone with the Wind. I read this book for the first time when I was 13 because my father got angry with me for wasting my time reading "junk". He had this huge collection of leather bound pulitzer prize winning novels and I said to myself "I am going to pick the biggest, longest book here and read every word of it just to prove him wrong". So I picked up GWTW and within the the first minute I was swept away. I'm 29 now and I kept that leather bound copy, I never put it back in my father's book case and I have reread that book so many times that the spine has become fragile. Everytime I read this story I find something to amaze me or something that touches me in a different way as I grow older. I love this book.
