For me it would have to be this last house that I bought five years ago (it was the third). But I am presently looking to buy an acreage just out of town so that we can move to the country. That will likely be my biggest purchase to date.

That would be my house. Still paying on that one, and will be for the next 27 years! The most expensive item I've ever paid cash for would have to be a car I used to drive, which I eventually gave to my mom.

My new house in Australia. Funny thing though I was the one that purchased it but my family were the first people to have stayed there. It's barely 2 months old. A New Year's gift for myself. That's sometimes the problem, too busy to work and not enough time to enjoy the rewards you reaped. That was my most expensive purchase for 2006.

The most expensive thing I have every bought is my car. It's paid for now. no more car-notes.
