This little red fruit is called magic or miracle because it gives your tongue the sweet taste. After eating the berry, whatever you eat within 2 to 3 hours will taste sweet. The acid test is the lemon which is really sour that will taste sweet to you because you ate the magic fruit. This was scientifically tested and featured in National Geographic.

You planted a seed of the miracle fruit 2 months ago? If there is no sprout then the seed did not germinate. Plant another one.

I have heard of them but never tried them. Does it work for eating hot peppers?

@wolfgirl569 for sure you can. When I first saw that magic fruit being discussed by an agriculturist, I didn't believe until I tasted the lemon that was very sweet.

Yes, we already tried it with the red pepper and it tasted sweet when you had eaten the magic fruit first.

I was amazed when I experienced the demonstration by a newspaper columnist. The very sour lemon tasted sweet after I ate the magic berry.

@Nevena83 oh, I don't know if it is healthy or not. I just planted it for novelty.

It is fun, yes, but it may not be good to play with the taste buds.

@snowy22315 what happens if the taste buds would not go back to normal and everything you taste is sweet?

Yes, I call it magic but some people call it miracle.

Maybe that's the one Solenn Heusaff asked Alex G. to eat in her vlog. Then, she made her eat lemon afterwards.

More likely it is because you cannot eat the lemon without ruining your face, waheehee.

Any reason why it converts anything eaten in 2 to 3 hours would taste sweet.

I saw the testing of the National Geographic. They presented no reason for the lingering sweet taste. But my opinion on that is the fruit numbs the taste buds.
