When is the best time to bake, cloudy ,sunny, stormy

Good morning.Yucky out there. Today I decided to make Chocolate Chips cookies. Cookie jar is empty. When is the best time to bake. Sunny. Cloudy ,raining etc. Today is cloudy and raining. I hear old wives tale about this. The weather could infect your baking? Photo is mine finished.

I think that's because the oven gives off heat which is cozy on a winter's day.

@JohnRoberts yes your right John.I remember one Summer day and it was quite warm and baking. The cookies was a flop because of the humidity.

@amadeo Th old wives tale about baking are correct, but it is mainly for bread or dough that require to rise slowly. If there is high humidity you will never bake a good crusty bread.

I'll be right over. I can almost smell that. lol I like to bake when it's cold and damp, or bitterly cold. I know what you mean though, I've heard that the weather effects your baking, but I forget anything else about it

@amadeo not for me. As i dont stay by the stove. Just put it in and walk away until it needs to be checked and taken out. So no extra hear from it.

The cookies are very rich, I really bake when it provokes me, there is sun or rain, but when it comes to bread that has yeasts I prefer that the weather is warm ..
