Purim is a Jewish Holiday that is in the month of March. It is a very fun holiday. It takes place in Persia, which is Iran today. It tells the story of a Queen named Esther that saves the Jewish People from Annihilation from our enemy called Haman. Purim is two days and the day before is a fast day. Today Purim is celebrated in cities outside of Jerusalem and all over the world where Jews can be found. Tomorrow it will be celebrated here in Jerusalem. We dress up and read about the story. I will give you a link to give you more information on it:

@RebeccasFarm It was quiet this year. I really did not feel much about it this year because of the virus. You are welcome for sharing it with you. It is a very fun holiday.

You dress up with a costume that was the traditional attire in the olden times? And how do you read the story, to the children?

@Alexandoy We still dress up on this holiday today too. We have something called a Megilla that we read from about the story. Here is a link for you to know more about how we read the story of Purim:

@amitkokiladitya We wear what we want. Some dress as Queen Esther, some dress as our IDF soldiers so that is traditional.
