Hi everyone!
Yesterday we celebrated my wonderful brother’s birthday. Due to concerns about the virus, we had cocktails outdoors around the pool with gorgeous ocean views. My boo boo was covered as best as possible.
We also changed our dining reservations to outdoors for the same reason. It was such a beautiful evening and after his special birthday dessert gratis of the Four Seasons, we all went out for ice cream. I had a hot fudge sundae with extra hot fudge, whipped cream and a cherry on top.
However, today is his real birthday. We will celebrate it again by going out to dinner with him and our sister-in-law. We always have such a wonderful time with them.
Hope you have a wonderful day!

It's nice to hear that you still got to celebrate your brother's birthday and not be forced to cancel everything due to the virus. That would have been a sucky thing to have happen on his birthday!
You'll laugh at this (at least I hope so), but when I first saw your title "Today's the Day," the first thing that popped into my head was "hubby is finally getting a vasectomy!" LOL
I hope you enjoyed your ice cream. I would have been just like you, I would have asked for extra hot fudge!

@DianneN I'm sure there's still a lot of bad areas there. If I had to guess, Tamarind Avenue in WPB is probably still bad, as well as the entirety of Riviera Beach! Delray used to be really bad, but gentrification had already started setting in there back when I lived in Boynton.

@moffittjc Down home cooking.
It’s changed a lot, but certain areas haven’t.

That hot fudge sundae with extra hot fudge and whipped cream sounds awesome! I don't do cherries.
I'm glad you had a wonderful birthday celebration with your brother and did it again yesterday.
Your picture looks great and no sign of your boo-boo. Unless this is an older picture.

@DianneN Just use good judgment and precautions. We cannot completely surrender to being prisoners of this.

@DianneN Here I still feel relax because we have no cases here in my town. I'm worried about my other siblings because they are out of the house and working

Your brother and his wife, they are very special family members! Hot fudge sundae with whipped cream and a cherry on top? Yummy, that's what I call a delicious treat! For my sundae, I want butterscotch!

@kobesbuddy That’s true!
Luckily, we haven’t had any outbreaks in our neck of the beach, but I don’t want to take any chances.
We only went out because it was my brother’s birthday and sat outdoors for both dinners.
That’s it for us all!

@DianneN I agree, we aren't eating even takeout meals very much. Who knows what is being done, in the kitchen! The head cook could be infected:(

@DianneN It is a wise decision! I have taken the same decision and I try to convince others to do the same, too. But from tomorrow, every bar, pub, restaurant have to be closed.

@DianneN Yes. It's scary now and we all should now practice social distancing for the time being to contain it. Hopefully things should come in control soon.
