Spring is just around the corner, which means that hopefully gardening season will start again. Last year, I planted tomatoes, and was able to have my favorite sandwiches!
Tomato and Mayo!
They are so good, and are probably the best sandwich around. Nothing beats sinking your teeth into a tomato and mayo sandwich. Yummy! I could live off these no joke!
What are some foods and snacks that you could live off?

They really are. I love them in a lot of things. Like pasta, for one. Yum!

I plant tomatoes every year for sandwiches and salads. Your right, a tomato sandwich is a great summer meal. I could probably live off peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Filling and tasty too!

PB & J's are good too, especially on toast!

Eggs are good too, and you can make them so many different ways that you could never get sick of them!

Such a simple sandwich and I have not made one of these in a very long time, but boy are they good. Actually, though, I'd have to add some bologna and maybe some onions and cheese as well to complete it for me if I made one now.
But I have had such a regular sandwich like this before, of course, and I cannot deny they are tasty.

Yours sounds like a tasty sandwich as well though, you almost had my mouth watering. I think I'd eat almost anything if cheese was added. cheese is part of the three c's.
The other two are chocolate, and cake.

You and I are sisters for sure, separated at birth! Who needs any kind of meat when you have fresh white bread, mayo, and luscious tomatoes from your garden? With lots of salt and pepper.

Exactly! It's totally the best thing ever! All last summer that's all I ate for lunch. My family thought I was losing it, because I couldn't wait until I had my Tomato and Mayo sandwich.

@indiandevil My husband should be planting some tomato plants before too long, I hope. To me, squash and tomatoes from your own garden are the best things in the world!

I've never thought of that! I'll have to try it next time I have some tomatoes in the house.

Hello Dawn I am from India where we have plenty of local dishes that take the place of the Western sandwiches. One of them is idly which is made by grinding and fermenting rice and then steaming them. I love them and prefer them over sandwiches. I can have it morning, evening, and night.
