i lost an item again

the first time it happened was about a month ago.
when i got home from the supermarket, i noticed two items were missing - dishwashing liquid and sanitary pads. thankfully, i can just walk to a nearby store to buy them.
yesterday, the same thing happened. i noticed the cucumbers i was planning to juice were missing.
i have no idea where i lost them. 
the surprising thing was, the supermarket wasn't crowded yesterday.
i guess most houses here are fully stocked now!

Did you forget the item or simply missed them? I use my phone for the grocery list even if only a few items. That is to guard against forgetfulness.

@Alexandoy both times, i took a tricycle after getting off the jeepney and i didn't leave anything there so they probably feel off. at least they're not expensive and easy to buy here.

A couple of months ago I lost an entire loaf of bread. I have no idea how or where it went. We checked the car and outside. The only thing I can think of is that it fell out of the cart between the grocery store and the car. I felt so silly about losing it, you would think I would have noticed an entire loaf of bread falling from the cart. But, I didn't.

Could it be that the packer forgot to put those items in your grocery bag?
Me? I forget a lot lately too. Worse was when I placed my cp & wallet on top of a display cabinet of a store, after not being able to chose what I needed to buy from the display (I went home, just like that)! When did I remember that I no.longer have my wallet & cp in my bag? Before sleeping that night! So I rushed to the store! The saleslady was smiling upon seeing me. She immediately handed to me both! God bless her!
P. S. (I've just withdrawn P8k before going to that store)!

@hereandthere That happened to me too. What I did was to go back to the supermarket, showed the cashier my receipt & informed her I did not find the pack of white Safeguard on my grocery bag. The packer (upon hearing me), apologized. He said he unintentionally dropped it, while putting the items I bought in the bag (he saw it in a box below the table, after I left). He gave the pack to me. Too glad I got it back!
Got more weeks of "clean" baths!

Have to be careful ordering online. Always check the online receipt to see if have everything you ordered.

yes, i have. i usually lose the small ones. i suspect they fall through the cart before i get to the cashier. :)

Not groceries but when I went to the groceries I bought a pair of false lashes and they forgot them in the bag
When I went back they did not even ask for the receipt they just said okay you can go get them
I was so shocked haha

I can't remember losing any groceries. We have stocked up our pantry too.
